On this postisode, let’s talk about how I ended up being on the ninth episode of “It’s A Wrap ” or IAW.
Well, basically, I was told to do it. That’s it, the end bye bye everyone!
Hahaha, well that’s the short story, the long story, I was at my desk when Jeremiah told me to pull out the company’s calendar and he showed me the last two weeks (2nd and 3rd week of November) and I was like “uhuh okay”. I wondered what was going on.
And then he told me to come up with things to say for IAW #9 and I was like holllllll upppppppp. So I am going to front the ninth episode, whuuuuuuuuut? Damn, my blood pressure went up. My temples were pulsating and my body felt warm.
I am camera shy, in fact I am a camera introvert. At all cost, I try my best to avoid being in front of the camera, why? Because I am insecure about my looks and how I appear on camera hahaha. I mean that is the general consensus of someone who’s “camera shy” but you know, you gotta do what you gotta do.
It was definitely something out of my comfort zone, I’ve never really done a “YouTube” style (sort of) video before, speaking to a camera. AND TO MAKE THINGS EVEN CHALLENGING WE HAVE TO FILM IT LIKE NOW-NOW. I was given little time to plan what I have to say, eventually I had some stuff to say.
I collected my thoughts and sort of planned what I had in mind, what I didn’t expect was the amount of NGs that I was going to have, like how I mispronounced a lot of words, spoke in very bad english like my sentence structure was comparable to a nursery school kid.
Special thanks to Wes and Nic for helping me feel better during the filming process, Wes helped me to simplify what I had to say and it worked. In all, we managed to complete all the 3 parts (What we did in the past week, interesting video I saw and what to expect in the coming week) before lunch time.
Crazy experience, my heart jumped out and went back in during filming because it was so awkward for me but hey, we managed to put it together.
Quite an experience that was. I can confirm one thing though, I am 100% not talent material but I’m 100% husband material, wink wink. Alright somebody get me out of here, that was such a bad line.
Till next time!
