You probably heard of the tightened restrictions. It may be a bummer to most but you can make these WFH days more interesting (without going out and risking your life) and make the best out of this time.
3 tips to being a rockstar at home:
1.HOW TO KEEP THE BUSINESS GOING: Keep creating. Many think that with tightened safety measures, content creation agencies like ours stop functioning and you won’t have new content up. But in reality we’re still aggressively on the grind with smaller remote shoots and livestreams for brands. That’s a potential area for you to explore and for us to execute. Compact experiences don’t translate to lower quality. Take advantage of everyone’s increased online activity and produce more social media assets.
Already have a library of content? Repurpose them! Break it down into chapters, turn it into a video, spice it up with subtitles, graphics animations, colour grading and sound design.
2. HOW TO KEEP EVERYONE’S SPIRITS UP: Work hard, play hard. Yes video calls are a good substitute for face to face interactions but they’re not great. Apart from prioritising productivity, you need to make time for catching up and having fun. Especially if its the core of your brand’s working culture. If you don’t schedule your breaks, you’ll likely be stuck to your computer, zombified.
Obviously some of you love working from home and are doing even better than you are in the office. But don’t forget your colleagues, they might not be. Drop them a text once in awhile to see how they’re doing and offer some help.
Or create a vlog series together for the laughs like this awesome ‘Homework Chronicles’.
3. HAVE FAITH: No one knows what’s going to happen but all we can do is to believe. With tons of companies sharing their success stories and published articles on how to take care of your mental health during this period, we’ll be able to push through this once again and come out stronger than before.
Till we meet (in real life) again, practice safe distancing, wear your mask and stay safe!
